Desert Botanical Garden, Dec 2016 (part ii of 3)

In part 1 of my post service most the Desert Botanical Garden (DBG) inwards Phoenix, Arizona I showed y'all the Entry Garden, the Desert Terrace Garden in addition to the Desert Portal (click here for a map). This post service volition embrace the Cactus in addition to Succulent Galleries, the Agave Yucca Forest in addition to the connecting sections inwards between. Part iii volition embrace the Webster Center in addition to Ullman Terrace, the Heritage Garden, in addition to the Center for Desert Living Trail.

I visited on Tuesday, Dec 27, 2016, in addition to past times xi a.m. I was wishing I had left my hoodie inwards the car. By mid-afternoon, temperatures had climbed into the depression 70s. That's why I dear wintertime inwards the Arizona desert!

One of my favorite places to sit down inwards the DBG. Behind it is a  toothpick cactus (Stetsonia coryne)

Between the Cactus in addition to Succulent Galleries in addition to the Desert Research in addition to Horticulture Center is a pocket-size agave garden packed alongside many uncommon (and unopen to common) species.
